Bio-plastic: the first greenhouse-gas-neutral polymer.

Using bio-plastics results in less carbon emissions than conventional plastics.

First, bio-plastic disposal is carbon neutral: ultimately, when it reduces into the soil it becomes nothing more than the basic building blocks of the plants it fertilizes.

Second, the manufacture of bio-plastic requires less total energy than that of oil-based plastics, and reduces the amount of greenhouse gases released into the atmosphere.
